149th Armored Signal Company "Envelope''

This is an original censored WWII Army Cover (envelope with bicolored border) dated August 3, 1943 and is franked with stamp #C25 "Air Mail". The envelop was sent by Lt. ............... to Mr. and Mrs. A. W. S............. of 12814 Maple Avenue, Blue Island, Illinois. Nevertheless the envelope contains nothing. The address the envelope was sent from was APO#259 which was in Camp Ibis, California on this date. (During September 1943 the 9th Armored Division departed Camp Ibis as its base camp, and moved into the desert for three weeks of division exercises).
